A Jharkhand state board school runs Matriculation at Class 10 and Intermediate at Class 12 under the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi. Mid-year movement between schools is common enough here that transfer handling — in and out — is the part of the record that has to be right.
Board nomenclature and portal processes change, and several boards have reorganised recently. Confirm the current circular for your own board before relying on any filing detail here.
JAC follows nomenclature Bihar schools will recognise. What differs in the office is the volume of movement: students arriving and leaving mid-session, each needing a transfer certificate issued or accepted with the history intact.
A TC issued mid-session states the last date of attendance, the class and section, whether dues are cleared, and the conduct record. Every one of those is a live figure at the moment of issue, and every one is wrong if it is typed from memory rather than read from the ledger and the register.
The certificate is also numbered and logged, so a duplicate requested three years later reprints identically rather than being recomposed from what the record says today.
A student arriving mid-session with a TC from another school gets one record, with a start date inside the session and the prior school noted. The failure mode is admitting them as though the year began for them in April, which makes their attendance percentage nonsense and their first fee instalment wrong.
Phrased the way they arrive, answered so each one stands on its own.
Yes, from the ledger and the register at the moment of issue, and the issued certificate is numbered and logged so a duplicate reprints identically.
Against the days from their actual start date, not the full session. Anything else produces a shortfall notice for a student who has not been there.
Yes, per section medium.
