Every change to marks, fees, attendance and student identity is written to an immutable log: user, timestamp, value before, value after, and the reason where one is required. Nobody can edit or delete the log, including administrators and including us.
The log records changes made through the system. It cannot record a decision taken outside it and entered as a fact.
The question at an inquiry is never whether a mark changed. Marks change constantly and for good reasons. The question is whether the school can say who changed it, when, from what, and why — and a school that cannot is in the same position as one that did something wrong.
A log an administrator can edit is not evidence. Neither is one a vendor can edit on request. The log is append-only for every role including ours, and that property is the entire reason it is worth keeping — a school defending a decision needs to be able to say that nobody could have altered the record, not that nobody did.
Moderating a mark, waiving a fee, changing a date of birth, re-opening a locked component: each requires a reason, and re-opening after a window has closed requires a second approver. These rules are unpopular for roughly one week a year and are what allow a query two years later to be answered in a minute.
Phrased the way they arrive, answered so each one stands on its own.
No. The log is append-only for every role, including ours. A log that can be edited is not evidence of anything.
To the beginning of your data. It is not purged at year rollover, because the queries that need it arrive years later.
Yes, filtered by date, user, student or field, as part of structured export.

Pricing is on the page, in the open, with the counting rule written next to it. Nobody has to book a call to find out what it costs.
