SSC in Telangana, and a junior college on the same campus

A Telangana state board school runs SSC at Class 10 under the state Board of Secondary Education, with Intermediate at Classes 11 and 12 under a separate Board of Intermediate Education — the same two-authority structure Andhra Pradesh has, on its own calendar and its own correspondence.

Board nomenclature and portal processes change, and several boards have reorganised recently. Confirm the current circular for your own board before relying on any filing detail here.

Telangana inherited the two-board structure at separation and has diverged since in calendar and process. Schools that ran under a single authority before 2014 still occasionally hold records that assume one, which surfaces when an older student’s history is retrieved.

Historic records that predate the split

A school with a long history holds records issued under the undivided state’s board. Those documents remain valid and are still requested, so the record has to carry the board under which a result was issued rather than assuming today’s. This matters at exactly one moment — when an alumnus asks for a duplicate mark sheet — and it is unrecoverable if the field was never kept.

Large urban schools, and section counts

Hyderabad schools frequently run eight or more sections per class across multiple media. Timetabling with that many sections against a shared teacher and room pool is where generation earns its place, and where clash detection matters more than any preference the generator can express.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Phrased the way they arrive, answered so each one stands on its own.

Does the record keep which board issued a historic result?

Yes. Results carry the issuing board and academic year, so a duplicate mark sheet reprints under the board that actually issued it.

How many sections per class does it handle?

No practical limit; timetabling and clash detection are built for schools running eight or more sections per class across several media.

Are Urdu-medium sections supported?

Yes, with card language and question paper version following the section.
