SSC under BSEAP, Intermediate under a different board

An Andhra Pradesh state board school runs SSC at Class 10 under BSEAP, while Intermediate at Classes 11 and 12 is administered by a separate board with its own registration and examination cycle — so a junior college attached to a school is a second institution, not a senior wing.

Board nomenclature and portal processes change, and several boards have reorganised recently. Confirm the current circular for your own board before relying on any filing detail here.

The split at Class 10 is the structural fact in Andhra Pradesh. Secondary and Intermediate are different boards, and a campus running both is filing to two authorities on two calendars with two candidate lists.

Two boards, one campus

Registration, examination timing, result format and correspondence differ between the two, and so does the candidate list. Modelling the junior college as its own institution — with its own structure, calendar and returns — while linking student records across the transition is what lets a family’s history stay continuous without pretending the two boards are one.

Language and medium in a bilingual school

Telugu-medium, English-medium and Urdu-medium sections coexist in the same school, and the medium drives the card language, the question paper version and often the section a student sits with for language subjects. It is a property of the section, and language subjects are part of the assessment structure rather than electives.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Phrased the way they arrive, answered so each one stands on its own.

Can a school and its junior college run in one system?

Yes, as two institutions on one campus with their own structures and calendars, and student records linked across the transition from SSC to Intermediate.

Are Telugu and Urdu report cards supported?

Yes, per section medium.

Can attendance be compared across the school and the junior college?

Yes — attendance and collection compare cleanly because the definitions are shared. Marks do not compare, because the boards are different.
