An alumni record that survives graduation

CampusHub converts a graduating student into an alumni record rather than archiving them: contact details they can maintain themselves, employment and higher-study outcomes, event and donation history, and the outcome data that accreditation bodies ask for.

Alumni maintain their own contact details, so coverage depends on them choosing to. No system produces accurate alumni data from an institution’s side alone.

Most alumni databases are a spreadsheet compiled once, by a committee, in the month before an accreditation visit — and out of date by the time it is submitted.

Capture the outcome at graduation, not five years later

The moment a student is most reachable and most willing to give you their details is the week they graduate. It is also the moment institutions most often lose them, because the record is archived and the contact details in it are a hostel room and a parent’s landline.

Capturing the first destination at graduation — employment, higher study, or neither, honestly — gives you a baseline. Everything after that is maintenance rather than reconstruction.

02

Why accreditation asks for this

Both NAAC and NBA look at student progression and outcomes: how many graduates progressed to higher education, how many were placed, and increasingly what alumni contribute back. An institution that cannot answer these from its own records is answering from a survey with a low response rate, which shows.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Phrased the way they arrive, answered so each one stands on its own.

How do alumni keep their details current?

Through their own login, which persists after graduation. Institutions that rely on periodic surveys instead get response rates low enough to make the data unusable.

Does it handle donations?

It records donation history against the alumni record. Payment processing runs through your existing gateway; we do not hold funds.

Can we use it for accreditation outcome data?

Yes — progression to higher education, placement and employment outcomes generate from the alumni records rather than being surveyed. Coverage depends on how many alumni maintain their details, which is why capturing the first destination at graduation matters.
